How ordering works:
Step 1: Choose your ordering route
Decide whether you’d like to order via the Ted’s Veg wholesale portal or through REKKI.
Step 2: Browse and build your order
Select the products you need for your next delivery. Ted’s Veg supplies a broad wholesale range including produce, herbs, salad lines and more, with availability shaped by seasonality and market supply.
Step 3: Place your order before cut-off
Orders on the wholesale portal can be placed up to 10 days in advance, with the standard daily cut-off set at 11:00pm for next-day trade delivery on eligible days. REKKI has a 23:30 cut-off currently, so platform timings may vary slightly depending on where you place the order.
Step 4: Receive your delivery
Ted’s Veg trade deliveries are generally made overnight between 00:00 and 08:00, with no exact timed slot guaranteed within that window. This helps businesses receive produce ahead of the working day.
Delivery Information
Ted’s Veg wholesale delivery is focused on London / within the M25, unless otherwise arranged. If your site falls outside the standard delivery area, speak to the team and they can advise on what may be possible.
Delivery Window
Deliveries are typically made between 00:00 and 08:00. Please note that exact delivery times are not guaranteed within this window.
Delivery Days
The wholesale portal terms currently set out standard next-day deliveries through the week, with Sunday deliveries not standard unless pre-arranged, while the live REKKI listing shows Ted’s Veg as delivering across all days. Because ordering routes differ, the best approach is to follow the live delivery options shown on your chosen platform or confirm anything unusual with the team.
Delivery Access
If your business is closed during the delivery window, Ted’s Veg may require a key, access instructions or a safe place for the order to be left. If no safe place is provided and nobody is available to receive the order, the delivery may be returned, and redelivery charges can apply.
Amendments, cancellations and standing orders
Orders can be amended by placing an additional order, or cancelled, up until the relevant daily cut-off time. Changes requested after cut-off may not be possible.
For businesses that want consistency week to week, Ted’s Veg also supports standing orders and bulk supply arrangements. If you’d like to set up recurring deliveries or discuss a more tailored supply setup, contact the team directly.
Packaging, substitutions and reporting issues
Some deliveries may arrive in returnable plastic trays. These should be returned with the next delivery, and the wholesale terms currently state that unreturned trays may incur a charge. Cardboard or alternative packaging may also be arranged on request.
Because fresh produce is seasonal and supply can move with the market, some lines may occasionally be unavailable. Where this happens, Ted’s Veg may offer the closest suitable substitute unless you specify no substitutions on your order.
If there is an issue with your delivery — such as missing, damaged, incorrect or expired items — this should be reported within 24 hours with clear photos where possible.
Pricing and Payment
Fresh produce pricing can change with market conditions, seasonal availability and supply fluctuations. Ted’s Veg states that prices are kept as accurate and up to date as possible, but adjustments may occasionally be needed. If there is a significant pricing change after an order is placed, Ted’s Veg says it will contact the customer before processing the affected item or order.
The wholesale portal terms also state that invoices are issued daily via Xero, with standard payment terms of 7 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
