Classic Avocado Toast

Ingredients
- 2 slices of your favorite bread
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Lemon juice (optional)
- Poached or fried egg (optional)
Instructions
- Toast the slices of bread to your liking.
- While the bread is toasting, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork and spread it evenly on the toasted bread.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Optionally, top with a poached or fried egg for extra protein.
Vegetarian Avocado and Black Bean Salad

- 2 avocados, sliced

- Whole-grain wraps

Instructions
- In a bowl, mash chickpeas with a fork and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread hummus onto whole-grain wraps.
