Apple, Bacon, and Cheddar Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (your choice of bread)
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- Butter for spreading
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, layer one slice of cheddar cheese, followed by the sliced apples and cooked bacon.
- Top with another slice of cheddar cheese and the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Place the sandwiches on the skillet or griddle and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice in half if desired, and serve hot.
Apple and Brie Crostini with Honey and Thyme

- Baguette, sliced into rounds
- Brie cheese, sliced
- 1 apple, thinly sliced

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp.
- Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and top each with a slice of Brie cheese.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and top each crostini with thinly sliced apples.
- Drizzle honey over the apple-topped crostini and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
- Serve the apple and Brie crostini immediately as an elegant appetizer.

Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Stir in the rolled oats, diced apple, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are cooked and the mixture has thickened.
